Emberletter Press is an independent publisher and story development house specializing in speculative fiction.
We live for stories that push the boundaries of genre fiction. Stories about love, terror, adventure, grief, and the Unknown—all those things that spark emotions and often go bump in the night. We believe that fantasy can conjure more than magic, sci-fi can travel beyond the stars, and horror can deliver more than simple scares.
Not that any of these things are bad, of course. It’s just that we believe the most meaningful and powerful things we artists can say come well-dressed in blood and magic and stars and Shadows & Teeth. After all, there’s always been more than fiction to genre fiction; truth lies here as well.
